Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a telephone call with Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Italy to discuss ways to strengthen joint action between the two friendly countries.

The call reviewed the outcomes of the visit to the Sultanate of Oman yesterday, by Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of Italy.

The Ministers agreed on the importance of building on the visit’s outcomes and advancing cooperation across areas of mutual interest. They also agreed to follow an executive action plan that supports deeper partnership and shared interests.

The Ministers also exchanged views on regional developments. They highlighted the need to support diplomatic efforts and constructive dialogue, and to work together to reduce escalation and to enhance regional security and stability.
