Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, made a phone call today with Dr Faisal Al Mekdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic.

During the conversation Sayyid Badr, with reference to the American attacks on sites in Syria, expressed the Sultanate’s solidarity with Syria, its security, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Ministers agreed on the importance of serious dialogue between all parties and containing escalation and conflicts.

They also agreed on the importance of the withdrawal of foreign forces from Syrian territory, of giving priority to resolving the Arab-Israeli conflict and of ending the Israeli occupation of all occupied Palestinian and Arab lands in order to achieve a just, lasting and comprehensive peace in the region.
